BORDENTOWN CITY: Library hosting April events

   BORDENTOWN CITY — The Bordentown Library will offer the following programs:
   Family movie matinee: Saturday, April 6, at 2 p.m. Children 5 and up are welcome to watch a PG-rated movie.
   Beginner knitting for kids: Mondays, April 8, 15, 22 and 29, at 6:30 p.m.
   Children in fourth grade and older who want to learn how to knit, purl and cast on are invited to join Ms. Nina for a knitting project. Bring one pair of size 8 knitting needles that are 10 inches long. Yarn will be provided.
   Registration is for all four sessions.
   Time for Twos — Tulip Tales: Tuesday, April 9, or Wednesday, April 10, at 10:30 a.m.; 2-year-olds are invited to come celebrate with songs, finger plays and fun.
   Chess and board games: Wednesdays, April 10 and 24, at 4:30 p.m. Chess, Candyland, Sorry — what is a favorite board game? Bring a favorite or play one of the library’s.
   Blooming Stories: Tuesday, April 16, or Wednesday, April 17, at 10:30 a.m. Children 3 to 6 years old are invited to come to the library for stories, songs, finger plays and fun.
   Baby/Toddler Time: Friday, April 19, at 10:30 a.m. Bring babies and toddlers, birth to 23 months old, and join other mothers and caregivers for stories, songs, music, finger plays and socialization activities.
   Crafts time: Thursday, April 24, at 4:30 p.m. Children 7 to 12 years old are invited to come to the library for arts and crafts creations.
   Registration is necessary for some programs. For children’s programs, registration begins two weeks in advance at the library, online or by calling 609-298-0622.
   Library services and programs are held at 18 E. Union St., Bordentown.
   Library hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
