POLICE BLOTTER

   Cpl. Timothy Vanselous, of the West Amwell Township Police Department, reported:
   —On March 18, Patrolman Edward Skillman investigated a motor vehicle accident on Linvale-Harbourton Road, just south of Route 31. Kathleen Keenan, 24, of Jamison, Pennsylvania, was driving south on Linvale-Harbourton Road when she lost control on the icy roadway and slid into the ditch. Ms. Keenan was not injured and reported only minor damage to her vehicle. The vehicle had to be pulled from the ditch, but was driven from the scene.
   — On March 19, Cpl. Vanselous and Patrolman Skillman went to a residence on Route 31 for a squad call. The individual experiencing the medical emergency, Frank Meszaros, 62, of Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, was found to be a fugitive from Pennsylvania for a violation of probation and failing to register as a sex offender in Pennsylvania. Mr. Meszaros was charged as a fugitive from justice and custody was turned over to officers from the Hunterdon County Jail.
   — On March 22, Patrolman Skillman investigated a motor vehicle accident on Route 29 just south of Lambertville. James Bricker, 67, of Ewing, was driving north on Route 29 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported.
   — On March 23 at approximately 12:44 a.m., Patrolman Skillman stopped a vehicle on Route 179 in the area of mile marker 3 for an equipment violation. The passenger, Phillip Wideman, 41, of Flemington, had an open alcoholic beverage in the vehicle. A computer check showed that he had an outstanding traffic warrant from Phillipsburg.
   As the officer was arresting Mr. Wideman, he broke free and ran into a wooded area. Officers from Delaware Township, Lambertville, Readington Township K-9 Unit and the New Jersey State Police aided in the search. Mr. Wideman was located on Queen Road in the area of Route 202 and was arrested without further incident. Mr. Wideman was charged with resisting arrest, obstruction of justice, disorderly conduct, and received a motor vehicle summons for having an open container of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle.
   New Hope police reported:
   — On March 2 at 11:43 p.m., police investigated a report of a disturbance at a West Bridge Street establishment. Police are continuing their investigation into the incident, and charges are pending against at least one individual.
   — On March 3 at 2:09 a.m., police cited Matthew Ellenberg, 25, of East Brunswick, and Marc Gallo, 42, and Kimberly Packer, 35, both of Richfield Park, for disorderly conduct, after the three were involved in a disturbance on South Main Street.
