ROBBINSVILLE: Resident joins Notre Dame Hall of Fame

   ROBBINSVILLE — John Tattory, of Robbinsville, is one of eight alumni from the Notre Dame High School, Lawrenceville, who will enter into the school’s Hall of Fame.
   Mr. Tattory, a 1983 graduate, was one of the honorees recognized for contributions made to their respective professions, communities, schools and places of worship.
   The Hall of Fame Dinner will be held at the Mercer Oaks Golf Course in West Windsor on Saturday, April 13. The cocktail reception begins at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Tickets are $100.
   The school’s Hall of Fame Committee, composed of school alumni and staff, donates the proceeds from the dinner each year toward tuition assistance to students with economic needs.
   After graduating from Notre Dame, Mr. Tattory attended Rider University, graduating magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
   While at Rider he played varsity soccer, earning all-conference honors twice. Mr. Tattory began his career with Ernst & Young and spent eight years in the firm’s audit practice.
   He then moved on to Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he held a variety of financial roles of increasing responsibility, ending his tenure there as finance director for the U.S. Primary Care business.
   He also served as director of financial planning and analysis for the Flow Control Segment for Tyco International.
   In 2008 he joined Discover Laboratories, a publicly traded biotechnology company developing technologies that address unmet medical needs in respiratory critical care.’
   Since 1991 Mr. Tattory has been a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Hamilton Square, where he served on the new church building steering committee, the school board and the parish finance council.
   He is a member of the board of trustees at the Mt. Carmel Guild, where he is currently serving as treasurer.
   Mr. Tattory has been a Robbinsville Soccer Association coach for 10 years.
   In addition, he has been a member of the Notre Dame finance committee since 2010 and has served on the Notre Dame Hall of Fame committee. Mr. Tattory’s service to Notre Dame is a family affair as his father, Dr. Carl Tattory, was a longtime supporter of ND boys and girls soccer. Also, his mother, Bernice Tattory, was Notre Dame’s school nurse from 1982 to 2004; and his wife, Christine, is a loyal supporter, volunteering with the Harvest Moon Auction, Post Prom and Fashion Show.
   Mr. Tattory’s sister, Carol Tattory Pitonyak, and brother, Chris Tattory, are also school alumni, as is son Michael.
   His daughter Lindsey will graduate this year, and son Andrew will be a member of the class of 2018.
