A vandal broke 10 windows on a vacant building on Spruce Street, causing $300 worth of damage, between 8 a.m. March 22 and 1:14 p.m. March 26.
A Johnson Avenue resident reported the theft of jewelry, valued at $1,100, from her home between 8 a.m. Feb. 21 and 8 a.m. March 22. There were no signs of forced entry.
A Town Court North resident reported that the sliding glass door at his residence was damaged, possibly by a landscaping crew’s work, resulting in $400 worth of damage. The incident occurred between 3:30 p.m. March 26 and 11 p.m. March 27.
Rider University student George Garland, 19, whose hometown is Edison, has been charged with burglary and theft for taking an assortment of items from offices at the university. The incident, which is still under investigation, was reported at 4:08 p.m. March 28. He was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center on $15,000 bail.
Daesheeka Moses, 24, of Trenton, was charged with shoplifting for taking an assortment of cosmetics, valued at approximately $500, from Sephora at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 5:50 p.m. March 28.
A Trenton resident reported the theft of $2,000 in cash from an unlocked gym locker at the Retro Fitness Center at the Lawrence Shopping Center between 3 p.m. and 4:40 p. m. March 30.
Kun Han, 63, of Princeton, was charged with driving under the influence at 8:27 p.m. March 31 after a police officer saw him driving erratically on Brunswick Pike.
Brandon Carter, 24, of Trenton was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief for kicking a door and damaging the door frame at the entrance to the Colonial Bowling Lanes on Brunswick Pike at 9:44 p.m. March 31. He was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center on outstanding warrants.
Adam Eversen, 25, of Merion Place, was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, driving under the influence in a school zone, refusal to take a Breathalyzer test and failure to use a turn signal at 1:14 a.m. April 1 in the area of the Brunswick Circle after he was stopped by police for a motor vehicle violation.
Items valued at $300 were reported stolen from a tractor trailer parked on Litho Road between 3 p.m. March 29 and 7:20 a.m. April 1. The thief broke the front passenger side window to gain entry.
A thief stole a 2012 Hyundai Elantra from the driveway of a Hillsdale Road residence, whose owner had left the car unattended with the engine running. The theft occurred between 7:05 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. April 2. The car was valued at $16,000.
