JUNE 1, 2013 – WEST ORANGE, NJ – Crestmont Country Club, a Donald Ross-designed championship golf course, will be a Metro NY/NJ host of the PGA’s 2014 Drive, Chip & Putt Championship Qualifying Series on June 3, 2013.

In an effort to promote interest and participation in the game of golf, the Masters Tournament Foundation, United States Golf Association (USGA) and The PGA of America created the Drive Chip & Putt Championship, a free, nationwide junior skills competition that will conclude at Augusta National Golf Club in 2014.

The event is open to boys and girls ages 7-15 who will compete in separate divisions in four age categories: 7-9 years old; 10-11 years old; 12-13 years old; and 14-15 years old. Participants will be grouped based on their age as of the Championship Final on Sunday, April 6, 2014.
The Championship will be conducted in three stages: Local Qualifying held from June 1 to July 15, 2013, then Regional Qualifying from August 1 to August 31, 2013, on to the Championship final to be held Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Augusta National Golf Club.
