LAWRENCE: The police department is seeking to find a 16-year-old boy who was reported missing from his father’s home here on April 24.
John Distasio, 16, who attends a private school in Basking Ridge, left his father’s home to visit a relative’s home in Howard Beach, N.Y., police said.
He was last seen around 6:30 p.m. April 28 at the Liberty A subway station at Liberty Boulevard in Queens, N.Y. He was supposedly taking a train back to New Jersey, police said.
John may be in New York City or New Jersey. He is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs about 155 pounds. He has black hair and blue eyes, and a pierced lower lip.
