PRINCETON: Buses to replace Dinky this weekend

WEST WINDSOR — The Dinky shuttle train between Princeton and Princeton Junction stations will be replaced by buses for the next two weekends.
On the weekends of June 15-16 and June 22-23, buses will replace the rail shuttle service due to construction of the new Princeton station, according to NJ Transit
During this time, NJ Transit buses will provide alternate service for customers. Buses will depart from locations near the rail platform at both Princeton Junction and Princeton stations.
Princeton Junction-bound buses will depart Princeton Station up to 30 minutes earlier than regularly scheduled shuttle train times. Schedules are available on njtransit.com.
Bus trips are scheduled for approximately 25 minutes with 7 to 10 minutes allowed for connections between buses and trains at Princeton Junction.
The added time minimizes the possibility of missed connections at Princeton Junction, NJ Transit said. However, traffic or other road conditions could affect the effort to maintain connections. Riders are asked to allow additional travel time.
