LAMBERTVILLE — An exhibit of fine photography by over a dozen artists, all from Lambertville and nearby towns, is on display now at J.B. Kline & Sons gallery, at 25 Bridge St., Lambertville.
”It’s our annual June juried photo exhibit,” said owner Jeff Kline. “We have two or three photos from each artist. Local restaurants have donated gift certificates that will go to the winners.”
A reception for the show is set for 6- 9 p.m. Saturday (June 8). Entertainment and light refreshments will be provided.
Visitors to the show will be able to cast ballots for what they believe are the best photos. Those ballots, plus the decision of a jury of local artists, will determine the winners.
”This way we get the public’s choices and the jury of artists’ choices,” Mr. Kline said.
”We’ve been having this show in June for a number of years now, and usually the public’s choices and the artists’ choices have been the same.”
Among the photographers whose work is being shown this year is Meg Eubank. “She won last year,” Mr. Kline said.
Also being shown are photos by Robert DeChico and his wife Catherine DeChico. “Other photos by Catherine are being shown now in our Buck’s Coffee Shop, which is located to the front of the gallery,” Mr. Kline said.
Other artists whose work is being shown in the juried exhibit are Elliot Ruga, Scott Reither, Deborah Sedchin, John Woods, John Plomp, Jane Wesby, Randy Earone, Reed Mitchell, Bonnie Armstrong, Gary Saretzky, Julie Anne Hajdusek, Alexander P. Wender, Michael Ast and James Fast.
