To the editor:
On behalf of the Bilingual Nursery School at the YWCA Princeton, I would like to thank the many people who contributed to the success of the 9th annual ETS Firecracker 5K Run/Walk held on June 25. More than 600 people participated in the event, raising over $20,000 for the Bilingual Nursery School.
Eighteen years ago, we collaborated with the Princeton Regional School System and established the preschool providing quality educational programming to a population whose needs were not being served elsewhere. We are proud to have taught hundreds of children throughout the two decades providing a solid platform from which to build. And, we are truly touched to have been a part in the preparing them for success not only in school, but in our community.
We are appreciative of all who supported this event in big and small ways. Their efforts made for a successful evening and will positively impact the lives of countless children.
