The South Brunswick High School Boy’s soccer team’s run to the GMC Tournament final ended in disappointing fashion with a 2-0 loss to cross town rival East Brunswick.
The Vikings battled valiantly in defeat, but East Brunswick was able to make two more plays than the Vikings to earn the victory.
The Vikings got great play from goal keeper Erick Kaiser in the final as well as throughout the entire tournament.
The Vikings defense held the Bears offense in check most of the game and the Viking offense created numerous scoring opportunities.
It was a well played final by all and the Vikings left the game with a lot to be proud of.
