The South Hunterdon Regional High School robotics team will begin work on their robot for the FIRST Robotics Competition March 15, 16, 22 and 23.

The South Hunterdon Regional High School robotics team will begin work on their robot for the FIRST Robotics Competition March 15, 16, 22 and 23.
The12-member team is led by Craig Roth, who also teaches technology education at South.
While the team has some donations from local businesses, Mr. Roth says additional corporate sponsors and donations will be needed to offset the cost of building the robot.
In addition, the team is seeking mentors in the community who can support the team with technical and engineering guidance. Programming, design and strategic thinking are just a few areas in which a professional engineer can advance the team’s knowledge base and help them to build a successful robot for the competitions.
If interested in sponsoring the team or have technical expertise to share, contact Mr. Roth at [email protected] or 609-397-2060, ext. 1208.
