Three local artisans will showcase their creations and talk about how they got started, their inspirations and the materials they use, at a craft showcase and discussion 7:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at Neve Shalom Synagogue, 250 Grove Ave., Metuchen.
The artists are Adrienne Kuperberg, copresident of the Pomegranate Guild of Judaic Needlework, who works in mixed media including beadwork, embroidery, quilting and appliqué to make challah covers and more; Nita Polay Levin, who uses antique lace, table linens and even wedding dresses to create tallit bags and kippot; and Ruth Corson, who makes a variety of Judaic and holiday-themed needlework and crafts.
The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call Joan Emmer at 732-548-9565.
