Hillsborough police blotter
On Oct. 31 a Camplain Road resident reported damage to his vehicle while it was parked at the residence. It was found that a window was broken, tires punctured and the hood was keyed. Value of the damage $5,000.
Mark Campisano, 38, of Hillsborough was charged Sept. 15 with possession of marijuana after it was found in his possession by officers at his residence, police said. He was booked and released pending a court appearance.
An Amwell Road business reported Sept. 20 that a work van broken into sometime over the previous three weeks and its dashboard console and two front seats taken. Value of the items were $5,642.
A Stagecoach Way resident reported Oct. 9 that someone entered a vehicle parked in the driveway overnight and removed a cellular phone valued at $400.
A Wesley Road resident reported Oct. 14 that sometime overnight an unknown green liquid was thrown on his vehicle. Value of the damage was estimated at $1,000.
Madeline Spinola, 21, of Martinsville, was arrested Oct. 14 for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia allegedly found in the vehicle she was driving when it was stopped by police on Route 206. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.
A Burniston Court resident reported Oct. 15 two bicycles, valued at a total of $650, were stolen from a shed in his backyard sometime over the past two weeks.
A Camplain Road resident reported Oct. 23 that sometime overnight someone broke a window on his house and damaged his vehicle. Value of the damage was put at $200.
A Hillsborough resident reported Oct. 24 that various garden tools and accessories were stolen from his personal garden located at the Duke Farms estate community garden sometime overnight. The missing items were valued at$405.
Police reported five arrests for driving while intoxicated Released after being booked were:
Karolina Mrozowska, 22, on Oct. 26 for driving under the influence after her vehicle was stopped on Camplain Road. Her blood alcohol content was found to be 0.14 percent. Ms. Mrozowska was also charged with failure to maintain lamps. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.
Lila Griffith, 26, of Manville on Oct. 26 after her vehicle was stopped on Amwell Road. Her blood-alcohol content was found to be 0.20 percent. Ms. Griffith was also charged with obstructing traffic, failure to keep right, driving while her license was suspended, failure to signal a tum and failure to maintain lane.
Carlos Bonilla, 33, of Hillsborough, on Oct. 2 after his vehicle was stopped in the parking lot of the Hillsborough Promenade on Route 206. He was also charged with refusal to submit to breath testing, police said.
Lanette Russo, 43, of Hillsborough, on Oct. 13 after her vehicle was involved in a motor vehicle crash on South Branch Road. Her blood-alcohol content was found to be 0.19 percent, police said. Ms. Russo was also charged with careless driving and failure to maintain a lane.
Snehhil Gupta, 37, of Hillsborough, on Oct. 20 after his vehicle was stopped on Auten Road. His blood-alcohol content was found to be 0.16 percent, police said. Mr. Gupta was also charged with careless driving, failure to maintain lamps, unregistered vehicle and failure to maintain a lane.
Police remind that any charges are merely an accusation and that any defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
