Thank you for the honor

To the editor:
To my friends at South Brunswick Citizens for Independent Living (CIL), I wish to thank you for honoring me as one of the 2013 recipients of The Barry Indik Memorial Award for community service at the 22nd Independence Ball on Nov. 2.
Since 1992 CIL has surpassed its mission statement by “empowering adults with developmental disabilities to live independent, productive lives in the community”.
I urge all residents of South Brunswick to continue supporting CIL in anyway that they can in order to keep the memory of the late Dr. Barry Indik alive through giving, caring, and devotion to the developmental disabled.
