COUNTY: Police seeking help to ID bank robbers

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in solving several Burlington County bank robberies that may be related.

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in solving several Burlington County bank robberies that may be related.
   The heists recently occurred in Delran, Mount Laurel and Willingboro, according to a county prosecutor’s office release.
   Officials, citing the ongoing investigation, would not state what indicates that the robberies may have been committed by either same individual or individuals working together.
   The robberies in Delran and Mount Laurel both occurred on Nov. 8.
   At 5:20 p.m., a black male entered the Roma Bank located at 80 Hartford Road in Delran and handed a slip to the teller indicating he had a gun and instructed her to hand over cash, according to the release.
   The suspect took the money and fled the bank. He was described as being between 5 feet- 10-inches and 6 feet-1-inch tall with a light complexion and freckles on his face and nose. He was wearing a fitted flat brimmed baseball hat with a purple logo and a black jacket. Just over an hour later at 6:30 p.m., a male wearing a ski mask entered the Beneficial Bank located at 3220 Route 38 in Mount Laurel.
   The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money, which was given to him by a teller. The suspect was described with the same height range as the Delran robbery.
   He was also described as weighing approximately 185 pounds. He was wearing a blue jacket, black sweater and dark pants. The suspect was also said to have a light complexion and a Hispanic accent, per the release.
   A week later, on Nov. 15 at 5:54 p.m., a black male entered the TD Bank located at 13 Levitt Parkway in Willingboro and handed a teller a note indicating he had a gun and demanding money.
   The suspect was described as being 35 to 39 years old, having a medium complexion with an average build with a bald head and little facial hair. He wore a white T-shirt, black sweatpants and white sneakers.
   According to the release, the suspect in Willingboro incident again was described has being within the same height range as the earlier robberies.
   The cases are being jointly investigated by the Delran Police Department, the Mount Laurel Police Department, the Willingboro Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
   Roma Bank and the FBI have posted a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
