MANVILLE: Berkeley College lists student academics

 Two Hillsborough students were awarded a degree from Binghamton (N.Y.) University.
   Amanda B. Kohn was awarded a bachelor of arts degree in Italian from the Harpur College of Arts and Sciences at Binghamton University.
   Peter E. Roth was awarded a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering.

   Senior Erica Barbuto of Hillsborough, was one of two Gettysburg (Pa.) College field hockey players and one of 34 Gettysburg student-athletes to be named to the 2013 Centennial Conference fall academic honor roll.
   To be nominated, a student-athlete had to participate in at least 50 percent of contests, matches, or meets, or in the varsity conference championship in cross country; be a sophomore or older and have a cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher.

   Students from Somerset County were named to the president’s and dean’s lists at Berkeley College for the summer quarter.
   Making the President’s List was Amanda Marcincavage of Manville and Patricia Vasquez of Belle Mead, both at the Woodbridge location, and Jessica Thomaszfski of Manville, Berkeley College Online.
   On the Dean’s List was Cathy Rivera of Manville, at the Woodbridge location.
   Students who achieve a grade-point average of 4.00 with a minimum of 12 academic credits qualify for the President’s List. Students who achieve a grade-point average of 3.50 or better with a minimum of 12 academic credits qualify for the Dean’s List.
