PRINCETON AREA: Police blotter

Princeton
   A Samsung Galaxy 3 tablet valued at $400 was reported stolen from a visitor at the Princeton Theological Seminary between 4:45 p.m. and 6 p.m. Feb. 7.
   Jessica Harley, 22, of Hopewell, was arrested at 3:49 p.m. Feb. 10 and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of prescription pills without a prescription after she was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Nassau Street at Mercer Street. She was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, having a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and failure to keep right.
   A new resident of the 200 block of Brickhouse Road reported $8,800 in jewelry stolen between Feb. 9 and Feb. 10 when she was moving into the area.
   A resident of the 200 block of Bullock Drive reported the door to her residence was opened, her dog went missing and $11,000 worth of jewelry was stolen sometime before 9 p.m. on Feb. 11. Police said it is unknown if the dog was taken at the time of the theft or ran away.
   Ernst Delma, 30, of Princeton, was arrested at 11:39 a.m. Feb. 12 at Landau’s on Nassau Street and charged with shoplifting two wool hats.
   Atleigh Forden, 20, of Princeton was arrested at 8:35 p.m. Feb. 14 on Nassau Street near Moore Street and charged with possession of alcohol and serving alcohol to a minor, respectively.
   Someone punched and damaged a painting at the Ivy Club on Prospect Street sometime on Feb. 14. The suspect fled the scene. The cost to repair the painting had not yet been determined at the time of the report.
   Two light fixtures in the men’s room at Winberies Restaurant and Bar in Palmer Square were damaged between midnight and 2 a.m. Feb. 15. The cost of the damage was estimated at $400.
   Josue Gonzalez-Yanes, 23, of Princeton, was arrested on the 200 block of John Street at 4:51 a.m. Feb. 15 and charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses after he allegedly threatened a visitor to a house on John Street with a large kitchen knife. He was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center in Hopewell after he could not post 10 percent of $10,000 bail. No injuries were reported during the incident.
   Rudi Delma, 26, of Princeton, was arrested on the first block of Leigh Avenue at 3:31 a.m. Feb. 16 for an active warrant in the amount of $113 out of Trenton Municipal Court.
   William Peeters, 46, of East Windsor, was arrested at 8:35 p.m. Feb. 16 and charged with drunken driving, drunken driving in a school zone, reckless driving and careless driving after he was involved in a motor vehicle crash on Alexander Street near University Place. There were no reports of injuries in the accident.
   West Windsor
   Daquan M. Square, 27, of Hamilton Township, was arrested at 4:07 a.m. Feb. 16 on Route 1 at Nassau Park Boulevard for an outstanding warrant after he allegedly tried to “short” a taxi cab driver of his fare.
   A car caught fire at 8:41 a.m. Feb. 15 on Route 1 at the Washington Road Circle. The Princeton Junction Fire Department extinguished the gold 2005 Nissan Altima owned by a Somerset resident. Police said the fire was caused by a mechanical malfunction.
   A 21-year-old Fountayne Court resident reported receiving six harassing phone calls between 11:57 p.m. Feb. 6 and 2:36 p.m. Feb. 14. Police said the most recent telephone call, was a threat to “kill him.” During that call, no names were mentioned, and no target was identified. Police investigated the phone calls but there was no clarification on who made the calls. The victim was advised to contact his service provider for further assistance.
   Lauren Provenzano, 35, of Lawrenceville, was arrested at 12:12 a.m. Feb. 15 on Route 1 at Meadow Road and was charged with drunken driving, reckless driving and speeding.
   Plainsboro
   Karina N. Campbell, 30, of Plainsboro, was arrested at 2 p.m. Feb. 8 at the intersection of Dey Road and Pheasant Hollow Road on an outstanding warrant for $61 from Plainsboro Township Municipal Court. She was also issued a summons for tinted windows.
   Lisa E. Vega, 48, of Plainsboro, was arrested at 10:42 p.m. Feb. 9 on Schalks Crossing Road on a traffic warrant out of Plainsboro Municipal Court for $35. She was also issued a summons for an obstructed license plate.
   Ramon A. Sanchez Jr., 26, of Plainsboro, was arrested at 10:45 p.m. Feb. 12 at the intersection of Dey and Scotts Corner roads and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also issued motor vehicle summonses for maintenance of lamps and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
