HILLSBOROUGH: 30-year teacher Zarestky-Fakelmann to retire

Olga Zarestky-Fakelmann, supervisor of fine and performing arts and family and consumer science, will retire after 30 years of work in Hillsborough schools. The Board of Education accepted her retirement on April 28.
Also giving notice of retirement in the last three board meetings are:
France Carnes, transitional primary teacher at Hillsborough Elementary, effective May 1. She had been employed in Hillsborough since September 1999.
Judith Everitt, media specialist at Hillsborough High School. She started work here in December 2005.
Jerri Fierst, media specialist at Woods Road School, after 21 years in the district.
Lucille Titus, earth science teacher at Hillsborough High School. She started in Hillsborough in September 2000.
Teachers whose resignations, effective at the end of the school year, were accepted in the last three meetings are:
James Lattanzi, 6th grade math teacher at Auten Road Intermediate School. He has been with the district since September 1997.
Jennifer Rourke, reading specialist at Hillsborough Elementary School. She started here in September 2008.
High school coaches coaches John Cassie (ice hockey), assistant girls soccer coach Kim Fromme and assistant boys soccer coach Fernando Vera also had resignations accepted.
Timothy Hoy, kindergarten teacher at Woods Road School, who started here in September 2011;
Special education teachers Andrea Krenek and Michelle Rogers from the Middle School. Ms. Krenek arrived in September 2012 and Rogers arrived in September 2013.
High school English teacher Suzanne Muszynski, who started here in September 2012.
