HAMILTON — Mayor Kelly Yaede and Hamilton’s Economic Development Advisory Commission hope to pair residents seeking new employment opportunities with local businesses in search of employees at Hamilton Township’s upcoming Job Fair.
The Job Fair will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at Princeton Manor Banquet by Cedar Gardens, located at 661 State Highway 33 in Hamilton, between the hours of noon and 5 p.m.
Admission to the Job Fair is free for all Hamilton residents. To expedite entrance registration, attendees are encouraged to register online at www.htedac.eventbrite.com.
Twenty different employers have already planned to participate in the Job Fair, representing industries such as technology/informational technology, travel, retail and nonprofit services. Additionally, event planners anticipate even more employers will take part in Hamilton’s Job Fair, specifically from the health care industry.
Several workshops and helpful skill training sessions will also be held at the Job Fair and are offered at no cost to attendees.
"As mayor, I want to help as many Hamiltonians as possible obtain job opportunities with local businesses, and particularly with Hamilton-based businesses who are seeking additional employees," Mayor Yaede said. "With new businesses opening in our community, construction taking place and future plans to revitalize existing commercial properties, even more job opportunities that will benefit of our residents are on the horizon."
Businesses that wish to participate in Hamilton’s Job Fair can contact Event Chairman John Strycharz at 609-638-7580 or via email at [email protected] to reserve a table at the cost of $75 or to find out about sponsorship opportunities.
Registration for both tables and sponsorships can also be made online at www.htedac.eventbrite.com.
Sponsorship advertisements help support this event and other Hamilton Township Economic Development Advisory Commission initiatives without the use of taxpayer dollars.
