HAMILTON: Township provides free flu clinics to residents

HAMILTON — The township aims to help those looking to avoid the flu this season.

Children ages 9 and older may receive vaccinations but minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians may wish to consult their physicians regarding vaccinations before attending a clinic.Flu vaccines are also available for homebound residents who call Hamilton’s Division of Health at 609-890-3884 to schedule an appointment.
Pneumonia vaccinations are available for Hamiltonians ages 65 and older or adults with chronic medical conditions.
"This annual program is a great way for our families and neighbors to help avoid the flu and is particularly of benefit to individuals with chronic health conditions or factors that might make contracting the flu even more dangerous," Mayor Yaede said. "I hope that many of our residents will take advantage of this free health service and remain healthy this season."
