HILLSBOROUGH: Here’s a delicious way to solve a murder

Detective skills — and an appetite — will be necessary when Hillsborough High School Theatre offers a murder mystery dinner at the school on Friday, Oct. 24.
A murder mystery dinner includes a little detective work while you dine on cuisine donated from local restaurants. In the interactive evening of mystery, you can’t be too careful. You may end up a victim.
The plot of the evening is the launch night for the Halloween horror movie, "I’m Your Number-One Fang!" from Buena Pasta Pictures.
The famous and well-to-do of the movie industry, along with critics and backers, are gathered to hear from the producer and director and meet members of the cast.
But nothing goes according to plan.
It seems that the studio boss, Don Canneloni, is not happy with the picture. Then someone starts reenacting the grisly events of the movie in real life, as two of the VIP guests are murdered.
Expect surprises and activities to add to the fun; plus, solving the mystery comes with a prize!
Guests will enjoy a multi-course meal while they figure out the culprit.
Tickets are $15 per person and include dinner and entertainment. Refunds will not be given if you are one of the guests that end up dead. A special discounted price for patrons who buy a table by getting their eighth ticket free.
