MANSFIELD — The fourth annual crafts show and a hoagie sale will be held at the Franklin Fire Company No. 1 this Saturday.
”We are planning on having one the fourth Saturday of every March and November,” Ladies Auxiliary Vice President Corey Lovenduski said in an email Monday.
The show will be held at the firehouse at 3135 Route 206 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will feature approximately 30 vendors, organizers said.
”We have a great variety of vendors,” she said.
The auxiliary has been hosting them since September 2013.
Vendors include, but not are not limited to, Unique Make-up, Jamberry Nails, Origami Owl, Health and Wellness products, photographed prints, candles, Scentsy, Tupperware, jewelry, including Swarovski, and handcrafted items, crocheted goods and more.
The craft shows are a main fundraiser for the Fire Department along with its monthly hoagie sales.
”We usually raise around $1,500,” she said. “All the money we raise is later donated to the Franklin Fire Department for equipment and supplies.”
She said that this month, the auxiliary was able to donate $5,000 to the Fire Department thanks to donations it received from its monthly hoagie sales and funds raised from the previous two crafts shows.
The auxiliary will be selling Italian hoagies for a $7 donation as well as hot dogs for $1 during the show.
”We’d like to thank our supporters in advance for coming out and supporting the Franklin Fire Co. No. 1 Ladies Auxiliary,” she said. “We hope to see many of you coming out to our craft show on March 28.”
Meetings are held the first Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. at the firehouse.
”The auxiliary is always looking for new members,” she said.
