PRINCETON POLICE BLOTTER: May 8

A vandal spray-painted graffiti on several large boulders within the Mountain Lakes Preserve, off Mountain Avenue. The incident was reported at 11:15 a.m. April 30. 
Luis Sanchez, 27, of Princeton, was arrested on several outstanding warrants from Trenton Municipal Court after he was pulled over on N. Tulane Street at 3:33 p.m. May 1. He was released after posting $3,234 bail. 
Kamel Salam, 46, of Princeton, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $190 from West Windsor Municipal Court after he was pulled over on S. Harrison Street at 10:05 p.m. May 2. He was released after posting bail. 
Devin Holley, 26, of Franklin Park, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 1:20 a.m. May 3 after he was pulled over on Princeton-Kingston Road. He was released on summonses. 
Someone entered an unlocked car that was parked in a parking lot in the 300 block of N. Harrison Street and stole various items from inside the car between May 2 and May 4. The items were valued at approximately $200. 
A large package of needlepoint canvasses, valued at $9,045.45, was reported stolen from a hallway in a Chambers Street building at 11:32 a.m. May 4. The package was mistakenly sent to a Chambers Street business, whose owner called the sender to advise of the mistake. The business owner put the package in the hallway, and a short time later, someone stole the shipment of needlepoint canvasses. 
Daniel Caban, 26, of Trenton, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $150 from Princeton Municipal Court after he was pulled over on Birch Avenue at 10:48 a.m. May 4. He was released after posting bail. 
A Trek mountain bicycle, valued at $250, was stolen from the 100 block of Stanworth Lane between May 3 and May 4. The thief cut the kryptonite bicycle lock. The theft was reported at 9:48 a.m. May 5. 
