LAWRENCE POLICE BLOTTER: July 17

  • Jordan Wright, 18, of Stonicker Drive, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana in a park off Stonicker Drive at 11:06 p.m. July 8. Police found a baggie of marijuana and a marijuana cigarette underneath his car, which was parked in the park after hours. 
  • Michael Hild, 40, of Lawrence Road, was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and tailgating following a motor vehicle stop on Lawrence Road at 2:02 a.m. July 9. 
  • Sumeet Singh, 20, of West Windsor Township, was charged with shoplifting for taking clothing worth $232.99 from Lord & Taylor and with receiving stolen property for having clothing worth $302.99 from the Ann Taylor Loft in her possession at 8:49 p.m. July 9. She was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of prescription drugs. 

  • A 17-year-old boy was charged with shoplifting and narcotics charges for taking a Polo brand hat, valued at $35, from Lord & Taylor at 3:57 p.m. July 10. He was also charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession with intent to distribute heroin after police found 16 individually wrapped baggies of marijuana and 13 individual packets of heroin in his possession. 
  •  Jordan Studevan, 24, of Philadelphia, was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane after he was observed driving erratically on Route 1 at 10:51 p.m. July 11. He was stopped by police on the Trenton Freeway. 
  •  Two cell phones, valued at $449.99 and $630, were reported stolen from the AT&T kiosk at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 6:14 p.m. July 12. Service to the stolen cell phones was deactivated by AT&T. 
