CRANBURY — Mayor James Taylor announced that taxes for the average homeowner will decrease this year during the Monday night Township Committee meeting.
The 2015 tax rate certified by the county is $1.898, which is less than last year’s $1.905, according to the mayor.
“A house with an assessed value of $650,000 will save $45,” Mayor Taylor said. “Taxes are going down.”
