East Windsor 

Angela Linke, 49, of Allentown, was arrested at 2 p.m. on May 21 after police responded to the area of Route 571 and McGraw Hill on a report of a motor vehicle accident. She was charged with drunken driving, failure to maintain a lane, careless driving, failure to wear a seatbelt, reckless driving, obstructing justice, aggravated assault, resisting arrest, assault by auto, and disorderly conduct. She allegedly repeatedly resisted arrest by attempting to pull away from the officers and kicked an officer. She was transported to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital for a non-life threatening head injury resulting from the crash. She was later released pending court action. 

Richard A. Pearson, 39, of Kinston, Massachusetts, and Stephanie Dubis, 37, of Plymouth, Massachusetts, were arrested at 12:26 a.m. on July 10 in the rear parking lot of the American Diner after police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle. While speaking to the occupants of the vehicle police observed drug paraphernalia consistent with the manufacturing of methamphetamine. During the investigation the driver allegedly poured the contents of two separate bottles on the floor of the vehicle causing a fire. East Windsor Volunteer Fire Co. No. 1 responded to extinguish the fire. It was later determined the vehicle was reported stolen. Both occupants were arrested and taken to the Mercer County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail. Mr. Pearson was charged with maintaining a controlled dangerous substance production facility, aggravated arson, receiving stolen property, destruction of evidence, obstruction of justice and hindering apprehension and his bail was set at $350,000. Ms. Dubis was charged with maintaining a controlled dangerous substance production facility and receiving stolen property and her bail was set at $300,000. 

Adam M. Kliewe, 31, of Hamilton, was arrested at 3:33 p.m. on July 10 in the area of Route 133 and Route 33 after police observed him driving a white Ford without wearing a seatbelt. He was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Allen E. Mick, 19, of Hamilton, was arrested at 3:26 p.m. on July 11 and charged with shoplifting after he allegedly left Walmart with $757 worth of clothing without paying for the merchandise. 

Daniel Fisher, 18, of East Windsor, and a 17-year-old juvenile male were arrested at 10:49 p.m. on July 11 after police responded to the area of South Drive on a report of a suspicious group of individuals near a vehicle. They were both charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after police found the drug and the paraphernalia on the trunk of the vehicle. 

Whitney L. Tylicki, 28, of South River, was arrested at 5:07 p.m. on July 13 and charged with shoplifting, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic needle after she allegedly concealed various pieces of undergarments in her purse at Walmart. 

National Night Out, sponsored by Mayor Janice Mironov and members of council in conjunction with Police Chief Harry Marshall and the police department, will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 4 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the East Windsor Police Athletic League complex at 30 Airport Road.
This year’s East Windsor Township event, which has much to interest adults and children, will feature police, fire and emergency medical services equipment, and crime watch information. There will be demonstrations by a canine trained in detecting illegal drugs, child car safety seat inspections and demonstrations by the American Red Cross.
Many community groups and area businesses will host booths with information and giveaways supporting the National Night Out theme. Area groups and businesses wishing to participate can contact Det. Joseph Gorski at 609-448-5678, ext. 231 or [email protected].
Additionally, at the National Night Out, areas will be set up for issuance of identification cards for children, fire hose demonstrations and face painting. Further activities will include a moon bounce, a rock-climbing wall, music and refreshments. 
