Princeton will provide a community-wide brush collection during the week of Nov.16, an added service that the town announced Monday.
The change is part of more brush collections the town will do for residents now and into the future.
For 2016, the town again will collect brush and Christmas tress during all of January, said Robert Hough, director of infrastructure and operations, during Mayor Liz Lempert’s regular press conference.
In response to residents’ requests for additional summer collections of brush, the town will provide two collections the week of July 5 and 25, 2016 throughout the municipality.
“We heard what the residents are looking for,” he said.
Brush normally is collected between the end of March and mid-June but not in July. The collection resumes in August and goes into early October.
