Programs for young adults available at library

Metuchen residents who will be entering grades 6-12 in September are invited to sign up for free summer programs at the Metuchen Public Library on June 7.

These free programs include community service projects, book clubs, printmaking and programs that feature STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). There is also a Summer Math Club for students in grades 6-7.

From 10 a.m.-1 p.m., the Teen Advisory Board of the Metuchen Public Library will host a library scavenger hunt for students who will be entering grades 6-12 next fall.

The scavenger hunt begins in the youngadult area, where they will pick up a set of clues and instructions. One winner will receive a $15 gift certificate, courtesy of the Friends of the Metuchen Public Library.
