METUCHEN — Police are investigating a robbery that occurred on the Middlesex Greenway near Pierson Avenue.
A 39-year-old Edison man told police that he was walking along the Greenway around 11:20 a.m. April 24 when an unknown man approached him, stuck a hard object against his neck and told him not to move or turn around, according to police Sgt. David Liantonio.
The suspect reportedly stole $10 in cash and 30 pills of Oxycodone, and fled the scene.
