Saint Peter’s University Hospital will host a free men’s health and wellness forum from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Feb. 13, in the Sister Marie de Pazzi Conference Center, ground floor of the hospital, 254 Easton Ave., New Brunswick.
The program will include physician presentations by David Jacob, M.D., cardiologist; Anthony Catanese, M.D., urologist, and Debra Goldstein, M.D., gastroenterologist.
Screenings and health risk assessments will be offered for:
- blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol screenings by appointment with Saint Peter’s Community Mobile Health Services;
- body mass index and nutrition questions with Laura Vetter, nutritionist;
- balance and mobility testing with Matt Albert, physical therapist, physical medicine and rehabilitation;
- memory screening with Stephanie Fitzsimmons, R.N., adult community nursing;
- colorectal, lung and prostate risk assessments with Samantha Skubish, CyberKnife/oncology.
There will also be an “Ask the Pharmacist” session with Mary Monaghan, pharmacist.
The program will be as follows: 11-11:30 a.m. – Screenings (Community Mobile Health Screenings by registration only), risk assessments, and information/education in Restaurant 2Fifty4; 11:35 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. – Physician Lectures in the Sister Marie de Pazzi Conference Center, Rooms 1, 3, 4 and 5; 12:30-2 p.m. – Screenings (CMHS screenings by registration only), risk assessments, and information/education in Restaurant 2Fifty4.
A light lunch will be served.
