The third annual Wacky Bowling event to benefit Make-A-Wish New Jersey will be held June 29 at Knob Hill Country Lanes, Route 33, Manalapan.
Wacky Bowling can be enjoyed by young children, teens, families and seniors, and does not require bowling skills. Bowling will be held on regular lanes — some with bumpers, some without.
The registration fee due at sign-up is $10 per person and includes two games of bowling (not to exceed two hours), shoes and raffle tickets. In addition, there are opportunities for sponsorships by individuals, families or businesses that want to publicize their involvement in helping to fund wishes.
To help raise additional funds for Make-A-Wish, bowlers will be asked to obtain sponsors who will make donations. Upon registration, bowlers will be provided with a sponsor/donation sheet to list their sponsors and the donations. Everyone is encouraged to have a goal of raising at least $50, but any amount is appreciated.
Since 1983, Make-A-Wish New Jersey has been granting the fondest wishes of children with life-threatening conditions throughout New Jersey.
