The Seed Library, established by the Woodbridge Township Environmental Commission, located at the Fords Branch Library, 211 Ford Ave in Fords, has been restocked with packages of seeds for the 2016 growing season. Residents can check out packages of seeds, free of cost, and plant them in their own garden. At the end of the growing season, dry out the seeds, repackage them, and bring them back to the Seed Library where they will be available for the next growing season.
The Seed Library operates on the honor system; no library card is required.
A large variety of vegetable, flower and herb seeds are available and this is a great opportunity to obtain heirloom seeds that you have not grown before and share the seeds you have been growing for years.
