Iris Lurie from Century 21 Mack Morris Iris Lurie, Marlboro, recently attended the Century 21 Global Conference, held annually by Century 21 Real Estate LLC to recognize the prior year’s achievements of their independent sales associates, brokers, offices and teams, and to learn about industry trends and new system offerings that help to deliver an unforgettable real estate experience for customers here in Monmouth, Middlesex and Ocean counties. In addition, the three-day event provided networking opportunities with associates from Century 21 offices from around the globe.

The 2016 “Dare to Dream” Conference, held at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Fla., focused largely on driving growth and better serving the needs of the dynamic real estate consumer. Sessions featured subject matter leaders who shared insights on how to:

• explore a holistic approach to health and wellness
• build a concrete marketing plan
• strengthen relationships
• enhance the value package
• discover tools to adapt to a changing market, and
• identify more effective day-to-day processes.
The conference also featured networking events and special guest speakers, including keynote speaker Captain Mark Kelly, the commander of Space Shuttle Endeavour’s final mission, retired U.S. Navy Captain, and husband of former U.S. Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. The couple became the center of international attention after the assassination attempt on his wife, and their story captivated the nation and resulted in the couple becoming an unequivocal symbol of strength and perseverance. Other speakers included Randy Rutta, president and chief executive officer of Easter Seals, the philanthropic partner of Century 21 Real Estate. The Century 21 System announced that it raised $2.9 million for Easter Seals, bring their total to over $114 million since 1979.
