Magyar Bank to hold ‘Spring Shred Days’

Magyar Bank is offering residents and businesses in Central New Jersey an opportunity to shred their personal and sensitive documents at Magyar’s “Spring Shred Days”. This year, Magyar Bank will add two special events to its Shred Day schedule. On April 16, visitors will be able to meet the Rutgers Scarlet Knight Mascot, and members of the Rutgers Cheer Team. On May 26, Magyar Bank will join WCTC’s Live on the Lawn Broadcast with morning show host Bert Baron from 7 a.m.-10 a.m.

All events are free of charge for the entire community, and will be held on the following dates from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. with the exception of the May 26 event, which will be held from 7 a.m.-10 a.m.

April 9 – Edison, 1167 Inman Avenue.
April 16 – New Brunswick (Corporate HQ), 400 Somerset Street.
April 23 – North Brunswick, 596 Milltown Road.
May 7 –South Brunswick (Kendall Park), 3050 State Route 27.
May 14 – Branchburg, 1000 Route 202 South.
May 21 – Bridgewater, 475 North Bridge Street.
May 26 – WCTC Studios, 78 Veronica Avenue, Somerset. (7 a.m.-10 a.m.)

Some suggested documents that should be shredded include: bank information, canceled or blank checks, credit card offers/information, financial statements, income tax records, insurance coverage, investment information, legal papers, medical records and personal bills.
