The following programs and events are open to South Brunswick residents age 55 and older at the South Brunswick Senior Center, in the municipal complex, 540 Ridge Road, off of Route 522, Monmouth Junction.
The movie “The Big Short” will be shown at 12:30 p.m. on May 5, and “The Danish Girl” will be shown at 12:30 p.m. on May 24, both for free.
Coloring for Adults will continue at 12:15 p.m. ,May 17.
Artist Frida Kahlo will be featured during the monthly art lecture by artist and historian Maurice Mahler at 12:30 p.m. on May 20.
The South Brunswick Senior Center will host a jazz band performance by Crossroads Middle School North at 12:30 p.m. ,May 23.
The Senior Center will hold a “Sinatra and His Friends of the ’50s” musical show at 12:15 p.m. on May 19. The show is narrated by Joe Gilligan with Sinatra’s songs performed by Donnie Fararro. The event is free in honor of Older American Month but seating is limited so registration is necessary.
