Marcel Diaz, manager of Weichert, Realtors’ South Brunswick sales office, recently announced that his office donated $500 to the South Brunswick High School STEM Program Robotics Club in honor of a long time sales associate and friend, Ajita Shah.
“My team and I are very privileged to honor the life and service of Ajita through the support of the Robotics Club,” said Diaz. “In line with the Weichert culture, it is our hope that our donation helps the Club to achieve its goals and continue to provide wonderful opportunities for the children within our communities.”
The Robotics Club consists of a number of individuals with a wide variety of talents. There are currently five VEX Robotics teams and one FTC team, all which compete in year-round tournaments at the regional, state and national levels. The South Brunswick High School team will complete against the best at the VEX Robotics World Championship this month.
