Food event set for May 23 at Brookdale

America’s SBDC New Jersey at Brookdale Community College invites entrepreneurs of Monmouth and Ocean Counties to attend a no-cost, high-impact Foodiepreneur event from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on May 23 at Brookdale Community College, 765 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft. The workshop is geared towards people looking to grow or launch a food business such as a restaurant, food truck, commercial food product and/or artisan goods.

This workshop will give current and potential food entrepreneurs candid insight from the experts into one of the largest industries in our area. The goal of Foodiepreneur is to facilitate a real dialog about topics that are important to entrepreneurs in the food industry. This highly regarded panel is comprised of accomplished entrepreneurs such as Tim McLoone, Marilyn Schlossbach, John Yarusi and Sam Chung, as well as essential resource partners such as the Monmouth County Health Department, The Culinary Education Center of Monmouth County and Rutgers Food Innovation Center.
