Anson Hira of Morganville has graduated with a degree in business administration from Georgia College, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Jessica Binckes of Howell has been named to the dean’s list at Monmouth University, West Long Branch, for the 2016 spring semester.

Brynlee Fischer of Howell, daughter of Sean and Kristine Fischer, has been named to the dean’s list for the 2015 fall semester and the 2016 spring semester at Jacksonville University, Jacksonville, Florida. She is majoring in Speech and Language Pathology and pursuing her master’s degree. Brynlee is a 2010 graduate of Freehold Township High School.

Jessica DePinho of Morganville, a junior majoring in accounting, and Julia Richmond Oliver of Morganville, a graduate majoring in business administration, were among the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania, students inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the business honor society. To be considered for induction, students must rank in the upper 7 percent of the junior class, the upper 10 percent of the senior class or the upper 20 percent of the graduating master’s class.

Victoria Crociata of Freehold, a sophomore in the Panuska College of Professional Studies, and Alessia Tagliavia of Freehold, a sophomore in the Panuska College of Professional Studies, were among the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania, students inducted into Alpha Epsilon Delta, the national honor society for health pre-professional students. For induction into the honor society, students must have completed at least three semesters of pre-professional health work, have a minimum grade point average of 3.2, and a science grade point average of 3.2 or higher.

Anthony Silvia of Manalapan graduated from Coastal Carolina University, Conway, South Carolina, with a Bachelor of Science in recreation and sport management.

Garrett Solomon, a sophomore English/secondary education major from Freehold, received the Professor Clyde Harding Award for Outstanding Scholarship in English and Communications at the Albright College, Reading, Pennsylvania, 2016 Honors and Awards Ceremony.

Sarah Steward of Englishtown was honored for excellence in the Core Division at Champlain College, Burlington, Vermont. The Core Division celebrated student achievement and outstanding performance in liberal education at the event. Students whose work was published in the fourth edition of “Audeamus,” an annual collection of student essays, were celebrated, along with student workers, faculty and administration. Sarah was recently inducted into the Champlain College chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success, Sigma Alpha Pi.

Alexandra Adimando of Marlboro has been named to the spring 2016 Dean’s List at Belmont University, Nashville, Tennessee.

Corey Morris of Freehold graduated from UMass Dartmouth, North Dartmouth, Massachusetts, with an undergraduate degree from the Charlton College of Business.

The following area residents have graduated from Emerson College, Boston: Stephanie Gordon of Marlboro earned a BA in Producing and Tyler Powles of Freehold earned a BFA in Writing Lit and Publishing BFA.

Samantha Mustari of Colts Neck has been named to the Emerson College, Boston, dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester. Samantha is majoring in media arts production. The requirement to make the dean’s list is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher.

The following local residents recently were initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines: Mikhaela Capobianco of Manalapan was initiated at Caldwell University, Caldwell; Laura Cugini of Freehold was initiated at Caldwell University; Wajid Mirza of Englishtown was initiated at Kean University, Union; Brandon Russo of Marlboro was initiated at Kean University; and Charanne Smith of Marlboro was initiated at University of Maryland University College, Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

Danielle Barbieri has graduated from Monmouth University, West Long Branch, with a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude. She has been accepted into Kean University, Union, to pursue a Master’s Degree in science for the occupational therapy program. Danielle is a graduate of Freehold Township High School.

Angela Szczecina of Howell was among the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania, students inducted into Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society for education. Angela is a junior in the Panuska College of Professional Studies at Scranton.

Thomas Nulty of Freehold has graduated from Millersville University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Environmental Health.

The following area residents received degrees at York College of Pennsylvania’s commencement exercises on May 14: Nicholas Conti of Freehold graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications; Katelyn Garvey of Freehold graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations; Danielle Nuzio of Manalapan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing; and Alex Terraciano of Manalapan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurship.

The following area residents received degrees at York College of Pennsylvania’s commencement exercises on May 14: Craig Hatch of Howell graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Kimberly Priante of Howell graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations.
