Krysten L. Guilfoyle of Jackson has graduated from Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood education. Krysten is a graduate of Jackson Liberty High School.

Erin McDermitt of Jackson has been named to the spring 2016 Dean’s Honor Roll at Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dean’s Honor Roll status is awarded to students who successfully complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Jessica Binckes of Howell has been named to the dean’s list at Monmouth University, West Long Branch, for the 2016 spring semester.

The following area residents received degrees at York College of Pennsylvania’s commencement exercises on May 14: Craig Hatch of Howell graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Kimberly Priante of Howell graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations.

Brynlee Fischer of Howell, daughter of Sean and Kristine Fischer, has been named to the dean’s list for the 2015 fall semester and the 2016 spring semester at Jacksonville University, Jacksonville, Florida. She is majoring in Speech and Language Pathology and is pursuing her master’s degree. Brynlee is a 2010 graduate of Freehold Township High School.

James Casey of Jackson has graduated from Ohio Christian University, Circleville, Ohio, with a Master of Arts in Pastoral Care and Counseling.

William Mitchell of Jackson has been named to the spring 2016 Dean’s List at Belmont University, Nashville, Tennessee.

Nicholas Pisani of New Egypt received an M.B. Rich Endowed Prize at the Lycoming College, Williamsport, Pa., annual honors convocation. The prize is presented to students in the freshman class who attain the highest rank in scholarship and deportment.

Angela Szczecina of Howell was among the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania, students inducted into Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society for education. Angela is a junior in the Panuska College of Professional Studies at Scranton, which is a Jesuit university.
