First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen providing free dinners May 31 and June 12

Thanks to the First Presbyterian Church (“FPC”) of Metuchen, home cooking never tasted so good — especially when it is free.

FPC is holding Free Community Dinner events on May 31 at 6 p.m. and June 12 at 5 p.m. at its Social Center, which is located at 270 Woodbridge Ave., Metuchen, right next to the FPC church building.

No reservations are required to attend the event. FPC has extended an invitation to everyone and welcomes anyone interested in a free home cooked dinner and/or some fellowship at dinner.

“We are once again delighted to give back to our community by providing some delicious free home cooked dinners to anyone who would like to come,” said Rev. Ellen Clark Clémot, senior pastor of FPC. “Part of FPC’s ministry is to serve and support our community, knowing by faith that God has granted us all we need to serve faithfully. We seek to obey Jesus’ command to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.”
