Vivian Lillian Kirk Ogden passed into eternity on June 8, at Roosevelt Care Center, Old Bridge. She was 98.
Born in Elizabeth, she resided in East Brunswick since 1952.
Mrs. Ogden was a member of Old Bridge Baptist Church in East Brunswick, where she served for many years, leading a youth group, teaching Sunday School, directing VBS, and working with Pioneer Girls.
She was predeceased by her husband, William, in 1975, her daughter, Virginia, in 2005, and her sister, Jean Shiflet, in 2016.
Surviving are her daughter, Patricia Cosgrove, and her husband, Leonard, of East Brunswick; her son, William Ogden, and his wife, Laura, of Fort Mill, S.C.; her sister, Audrey Collins of Weeki Wachee, Fla.; eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on June 17, at 10 a.m. in The Brunswick Memorial Home, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Interment will follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.
