The New Jersey State Elks Youth Sports Tournament is scheduled for June 27 at several locations. Boys and girls ages 13-18 are invited to compete in bowling, golf or tennis. Contestants will be placed in the junior division or senior division based upon their age.
The individual sports, venues and directors are: bowling, Lanes at Sea Girt, Wall Township, Rick Matson at 732-513-0410; golf, Cruz Farm Golf Club, Farmingdale, or Spring Meadow Golf Course, Wall Township, Robert Dobler at 973-809-5644; tennis, Neptune High School, Patrick J. McDonnell at 732-439-8673.
Participants should report directly to their individual location one hour prior to the start of competition for instructions and warmup. A small continental breakfast will be available.
Scholarships will be awarded to the best competitors in each category. There is no cost to any student athlete or school.
