The Joslin Diabetes Center, an affiliate at Raritan Bay Medical Center, a member of the Meridian Health family, will offer a diabetes-education workshop titled “First Steps” 6-7:30 p.m. July 19 and 9-11 a.m. July 20 in Suite 420 of the Medical and Surgical Pavilion, 2 Hospital Plaza, at the medical center’s Old Bridge division.
The program will review the basics of diabetes self-management including blood-sugar, hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia, target ranges, foot care, medication and nutrition.
