Benefit concert for animal shelter set for July 25 at Pollak Theatre

WEST LONG BRANCH — Monmouth University’s Pollak Theatre will host a concert featuring several musicians to raise funds for the Humane Society of Tinton Falls at 8 p.m. July 25 at 400 Cedar Ave.

All proceeds will benefit the Humane Society, which does not receive funding from the county or state.

Vaune Peck, director of the Monmouth University Center for the Arts, asked legendary pianist/promoter “Stormin’” Norman Seldin to gather a very talented cast of musicians for this event to help all the animals that are cared for and sheltered at the Tinton Falls facility.

Performers will provide a variety of musical styles and include Pam McCoy, Jillian Rhys McCoy, Dave McCarthy, Joe Petillo, Sam Sims, Kyle Ward, Dimitris Kulaga, Kevin Feehan and 3 Sheets to the Wind, Ronnie Brandt, Mary McCrink, Gerry Gironda, Ray Johnson, Tom Pharo and Ed Dougherty. Master of Ceremonies Frank Dimopoulos will preside over the event.
