A grand-opening event to celebrate the new Primrose School of Old Bridge is set for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. July 23 at the school, 3647 Route 9 North. Franchise owners Abraham, David and Sulmeet Ezekiel invite local families to take part in the festivities.
The day will feature school tours and family friendly activities including face painting, arts and crafts projects and a raffle for a children’s bicycle. Families also will sample healthy snacks from the Primrose Balanced Menu. Primrose friend Percy the Rooster will make an appearance. There will be a 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony with Old Bridge Mayor Owen Henry to officially mark the grand opening.
The school, which features 11 private classrooms with wireless technology, five secure age-appropriate playgrounds and a Primrose Patch garden for gardening and nature study activities, offers the Primrose Balanced Learning approach designed to blend purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion in children 6 weeks-6 years old. The new location also will offer the Primrose Explorers afterschool program for students up to age 12 and the Primrose Schools Safe School Plan to ensure that comprehensive safety measures are in place and all staff members are prepared to manage emergency situations.
