The Middlesex Academy of Dance Troup (M.A.D. Dancers) in Milltown is celebrating 38 years of performing. The M.A.D. Dancers is a non-profit organization that performs free of charge for the community, churches and schools. These very dedicated dancers, ranging in age from 9 through adult, are students of the Academy who, in addition to their regular classes, occasionally attend special classes and rehearsals. Under the direction and choreography of Susan Alai, a former Radio City Rockette, the M.A.D. Dancers have performed annually in both the Miss America pageant parade in Atlantic City and the Cherry Blossom parade in Washington, D.C. They also perform in the pregame show for the Somerset Patriots. Every four years, they preform at Disney World in
Florida. In June 2017, they will again be performing on stage at Walt Disney World as well as in the Main Street parade in Magic Kingdom. Come join the fun! Simply register this fall for classes.
