Based on the positive feedback received for the Summer Coding Club, Woodbridge Main Library will be offering a Fall Coding Club beginning Sept. 20 and continuing to Nov. 15.
Teens and tweens in grades 6-12 can learn the basics of computer coding on Tuesdays from 3-4 p.m. in the Main Library BEC Room. Members will use Google CS First to learn coding skills related to social media applications and then implement them using the free online program Scratch to create a variety of projects. The program runs for eight sessions.
No coding experience is necessary. Headphones and supplies will be provided to each participant, and six desktop PCs will be available for members to use. Members also have the option to bring their own laptops.
Space is limited and registration is required. To register for the program, contact the Teen Services librarian at 732-634-4450 ext. 7130 or email [email protected].
