Charity lacrosse tournament set for Oct. 16

T3 Lacrosse will serve as the host to the youth girls Play to Win charity lacrosse tournament on Oct. 16 at The Atlantic Club in Manasquan.

The Play to Win lacrosse tournament intends to raise money to help children and families cope with the emotional, physical, and financial tolls taken when enduring serious medical situations. Through the Play for Pay Foundation, T3 Lacrosse Shore Director Chris Raichle, along with his family, visit children in intensive care units to spread joy and happiness by distributing gifts such as iPads, iPods, video games, educational games and more, which can help make a child’s hospital stay more bearable.

The Play for Pay Foundation aims to make every child’s hospital stay as fun as possible by providing pediatric patients with small pieces of normalcy which helps them forget about their medical issues.

The Play to Win tournament is set up as a Girls 7v7 Round Robin tournament at The Atlantic Club in Manasquan, on Oct. 16. Teams are guaranteed four 25-minute running clock games which are officiated on modified field lengths. There is a minimum of 10 players per roster, 14 players maximum. Girls Divisions are 5th/6th, 7th/8th, High School Varsity and High School Junior Varsity. Register to guarantee participation in the event. Registration details can be found at www.t3lacrosse.com.
