The Italian American Social Club of North Brunswick will sponsor its annual Columbus Day Ball at 6 p.m. on Oct. 14 at the Pines Manor in Edison.
This year’s Guests of Honor are Connie Adamo and Louie Fama.
Adamo has resided in North Brunswick since 1950. She and her late husband Rocco and son Ray have dedicated their time to their community. She has helped with Meals on Wheels, North Brunswick Food Bank, is a member and past president of the Italian American Social Club and the St. Ann’s Society of St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church in New Brunswick.
Fama was born in 1958 in New Brunswick to Rosa and Giuseppe. He graduated from Somerset County Vocational School and went on to Mercer County College for horticulture. He is the owner of Fama’s Nursery and Landscaping that was started by his father and mother in 1958. Fama, residing in South Brunswick, is married to Lynne and the father of three.
There will be an open bar and cocktail hour, followed by a full course dinner while dancing to the music of Eclipse 2.
