“You Belong to Me, Sex, Race and Murder in the South,” with a post-screening Q&A with the producer, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 17, at Pollak Theatre, Monmouth University, 400 Cedar Ave., West Long Branch. The film is free and open to the public.
There will be a Q&A with Producer Jude Hagin immediately following the screening. Producer Jude Hagin brings her film, a documentary that explores the truth about what it meant to be African-American in the Jim Crow South, to Monmouth University’s Pollak Theatre.
